Meet Gina Parra, CMT

Gina is a Certified Massage Therapist, she practices Swedish, Deep Tissue, Bodywork, and is receiving training in Cupping Massage Therapy. Gina enjoys working with her clients and strongly believes in her ability to help others through massage.

Meet Dr. Joshua Mazalian, DPT, OCS, CSCS

Josh started his physical therapy career as a coach for high school and middle school basketball. He then went on to be the physical therapist for a semi-professional hockey team in Las Vegas. Josh's specialty lies in movement analysis and a hands-on approach to rehabilitating and sports and orthopedic injury. He recently distinguished himself by becoming board certified in orthopedics (O.C.S.) and plans on taking his sports board specialty next year. He is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist.

Meet Emily Mauldin, COTA

Emily attended CSU Chico where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and went on to PIMA Medical Institute where she received her OTA degree. She is a Licensed and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who has a passion for helping clients reach their full potential through therapeutic exercise. She has experience in pediatric and hand therapy settings and is looking forward to expanding her knowledge and experience.

Meet Janic “JJ” Pablo, PTA

Janic attended CSUN where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Studies. Before getting into Kinesiology and Physical Therapy, he was a high-school soccer coach and lead them to their first championship win in school history. He is a true believer of making the impossible, possible. His love for sports and competitive nature created a passion in the field of Physical Therapy. He finds great fulfillment knowing that he is helping others grow stronger physically and mentally. Specializations include strength training to improve movement (whether it be for sports performance or for everyday functional activities) as well as hands-on manual therapy to improve mobility.

Meet Amber Kay, Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist, Functional Soft Tissue Transformation (FSTT) Certified and Certified KinesioStretch Practicioner

Amber is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and has experience working in outpatient Physical Therapy clinics with different individual orthopedic conditions. Amber is all about patient care and her mission is to promote healing and provide the upmost care to patients with manual therapy, mobility, and strengthening exercises. Amber is certified in NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, Kinesio Stretch Certified, and Stickmobility Certified. Amber is interested in expanding her knowledge and currently obtaining her APTA Advanced Proficiency in Pediatrics. Amber was a professional dancer and had an accomplishing career with dancing with Alvin Ailey, NBA: Los Angeles Clippers, and many other opportunities.

Meet Violet Alvarado, Pilates Rehabilitation Specialist

Violet has over 10 years’ experience in Pilates instruction. She earned her Pilates Certification through Physical Mind Institute, under the instruction of Maria Leone. Her education also includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology: Exercise Science, from California State University Northridge.

Violet has a meticulous eye for form, following Joseph Pilate’s teachings to design a fun personalized workout program to fulfill each client’s needs. Her focus is on strengthening and conditioning the entire body, by engaging the core in a low-impact workout.

Her experience includes:

 Spine, muscle, and joint rehabilitation.

 Osteoporosis.

 Pre/Post Pregnancy.

 Functional movement.

 Balance.

 Strength training.

 Geriatrics fitness

Violet’s Pilates practice helped her win three Salsa World Championships. It was during her dance training years that she discovered her passion for Pilates and physical rehabilitation. Violet is convinced that movement is paramount. Movement, along with patience and persistence, will help achieve any fitness and health goal to improve one’s quality of life.
